Suction cup dildos are a hands-free toy that you can attach almost anywhere. The suction cup at the end of the dildo allows for a vacuum like effect making it easy to stick to most walls, doors, floors, bed frames, bath tubs and mirrors. Suction cup dildos come in many varieties! From girth and length to color and style there are a lot of options to pick from so that anyone can enjoy them.
So now that you know what it is , we can dive into what are they made of?
What are suction cup dildos made of?
There’s some terms you should know first when it comes to what sex toys are made of: porous, non-porous, phthalates and phthalate-free.
Porous: when it comes to toys some materials are porous such as TPE or TPR. Porous materials allow for germs to linger because liquid can pass through the material. It is highly recommended to use a condom when playing with toys that are porous.
Non- Porous: non-porous sex toys such as silicone and stainless steel are optimal because they have no pores in the material to harbor germs.
Phthalates: phthalates are harmful chemicals used to to soften plastics to make them squishy, semi-transparent , or provide durability. Most products made today are phthalate free!
Phthalate-Free: the material is made using alternative methods to soften the plastic.
Sex toys can be made from a variety of things : TPE/TPR , glass, stainless steel, metal, aluminum, silicone, and ABS plastics. Some suction cup dildos may include ABS plastic but it’s mostly found in battery operated ones. Most suction cup dildos are made from Silicone or TPE/TPR.

Use a suction cup dildo in a variety of different ways. Stick them to just about any flat surface you can think of. Try using them with a partner or finding a compatible strap on harness or even a toy mount.
When using with a flat surface make sure that the surface is clean, the cleaner the surface the easier it is for the suction cup to stick to. Add a little lube/water/spit to the suction cup not a lot just a dab to create a good stick and vacuum with the suction cup and the surface you’re sticking it to.
-If using a mirror or bathtub/tile make sure to really get the surface clean removing any soap scum, oils, and water deposits for optimal suction
When picking where to place the suction cup dildo make sure to consider the angle/position in which you want to use the toy.
